Executive Portraits
Have you decided to update your business portrait or getting one for the first time? Navigating the many options for corporate portraits can be complicated, but we at Photo Scope want to make it as stress free as possible.
The process
The process begins with a basic consultation in which your desires and needs will be discussed. Give us a call during normal business hours - this is the best way for us to understand your needs, and will allow us to book your appointment quickly.
Clothing choice
There are many things to consider when choosing what to wear to your portrait shoot. In general, it is best to wear what you feel most confident in and what you would normally wear to your workplace. Depending on end goal of your shoot, the formality of your dress may change. For example, when dressing for a headshot for your LinkedIn profile, you might dress in business casual attire. However, if you are dressing for an board member portrait, business formal attire is called for.
Solid colors are best to wear to your shoot, as complicated patterns can look busy and draw attention away from you. Brighter colors are preferable to darker colors, as they will provide contrast, draw the eye, and warm up the portrait as a whole.
In addition, you may want to bring more than one outfit to your shoot. That could entail merely changing ties and taking off one's suit jacket, or a change of the whole outfit.

Length of shoot
Most portrait shoots take about 30 minutes, which includes selection of desired photos, and touch ups if requested. Shoots may take additional time if outfit changes are required.
Photo composition
It is helpful to consider ahead of time what kind of photo(s) you would like to have done. This could range from a chest-up headshot for a profile picture to a full length portrait for a company website. We generally shoot a variety of poses, and leave the final choice up to you.
Final product
What final product do you require? This could include one or more digital files if the photo is for your own profile or for your business' website, printed photos, or a combination of the two. We can deliver digital files in many ways, including email, flashdrive, and CD.
